Two guys who have been friends since 1982 have been in the broadcasting business since 1984 and are still broadcasters came up with a music festival that has exploded.. Darryl Elliott aka Darryl E and Virgil Byrd aka Virgil k has not only been broadcasters but entertainers spanning decades so it was just natural to move to the arena of festivals. 2011 sparked a conversation in the WBBK Studio about doing a music festival in Dothan (something unheard of in the African-American community) that would bring in thousands of people and have staying power. Well after 15 minutes into the conversation we had Tristate family reunion!!
